C H A R A C T E R;
NAME: Wally West
CANON: Young Justice
POINT IN CANON: Season 1, episode 7: just before grabbing Nelson's cane.
AGE: 15
APPEARANCE: this derp right here
CANON HISTORY: Wikia
CANON PERSONALITY: The first thing you have to know about Wally is that he can be really incorrigible sometimes. He's flirtatious, often flirting with any woman he finds attractive. What's worse, is he thinks he's so suave when he does it. Just like any 15 year old thinks they're suave, when they use cheesy pick up lines and drops their voice to make it obvious he's into someone. It never works, to his dismay. Someone will always call him on it, though usually that person is his best friend Robin. Wally also thinks very highly of himself. He's not overbearingly egotistical, but he holds himself in a certain regard because he's very, very intelligent. And why shouldn't he think that? He single-handedly recreated his uncle Barry's (The Flash) experiment and turned himself into a young superhero with identical powers, although not as strong. That's not something most teenagers can put to their name and he owns it like a proud badge.

The second thing you have to know about Wally is that despite being incredibly smart... those brains don't always make it to his feet or mouth. Basically, Wally has the biggest case of foot in mouth disease in his canon. It's unintentional, but he says some of the single most stupid things a teenaged boy can say. Often it's his flirting or being a smartass that gets him in trouble, but when he's not doing that it's the fact that he doesn't often think before he acts. Wally has almost gotten himself trampled to death by CADMAS experiments, drowned in a pool because Cheshire knocked him out and dumped him into it and he didn't LOOK before went after the strange shadow, and nearly had his team roasted by lava because he lied about believing in magic. Which, by the way, did I mention that he can be really quite bullheaded when he wants? In the instance of lying about believing in magic, he insists that he doesn't because science can explain anything people think is "magic". Pretty much, it challenges his belief that there is no such thing, and he argues each point with a piece of scientific knowledge he possesses.

Despite being a "dumb boy", he's got a pretty good heart. He admits that he's one of the good guys and fights against evil without question, and generally loves the action and excitement of it as a bonus feature. But in doing so, he likes to collect souvenirs of his travels. Things that one day will remind him of his accomplishments, which he's very proud of.

As far as his relationships with people go, he's a generally trusting kind of guy. He puts his faith in his friends and knows that each one of them will back him up when he needs it, and always tries to do the same for them. But there's one person on the team that he's mistrusting of, and that's Artemis. At first it's obvious that he doesn't like her presence in the team because she's also an apprentice to Green Arrow just like his friend Speedy. He resents her for taking Speedy's spot on the team, and doesn't trust her because she's secretive and sassy and calls him on his shit. With this relationship, he shows a completely different side to his normal goofball self. He's angry, starts fights, and pins the blame on her for things she didn't do. Theirs is a tense relationship of snide commentary from both sides and a lot of it. However, he doesn't really interact with anyone else like that.
POINT OF DEPARTURE: N/A
ABILITIES: Wally possesses the ability to run at incredibly high speeds. He also has fast cell regeneration, enhanced reflexes, and he's pretty smart.
INVENTORY; Nothing, sadly.
ANYTHING ELSE WE SHOULD KNOW?

ACTIONSPAM SAMPLE: [Whatever kind of post this is, it's accidental that's for sure - Open]

Magic? Uhg. I'm so done with magic already. IT'S NOT MAGIC, IT'S SCIENCE! How many times do I have to tell people that? There's no such thing!

[ Wally sighs heavily, annoyed and very obviously already done with this whole... stupid magic tower thing. Because that's what this is, right? He's not really somewhere else. He can't be. The team was just there. Not that, that explains all the extra voices in his head but at least he's not unused to it? ]

I mean, I admit there's some really weird stuff going on here but it can all be explained! One minute I'm reaching for that stupid maaagic [ the word is exaggerated for effect, and even if you can't see him he's totally making air quotes. ] walking stick wand... thing. And the next I'm alone wherever the heck here is. And I'm talking to myself why?? Can you guys even hear me?! Stop playing around!

PROSE SAMPLE: (Working off the basis of the 4th wall area going on right now, even though I didn't participate. This is kind of a "I knew I was going to app at some point but I'm doing it last minute because I'm a doofus" moment - sorry!)

"Nooo, this place isn't creepy at all." Wally muttered sarcastically to himself, green eyes staring straight at a dancing skeleton thing on the wall. Their movement was met with a deep set frown of annoyance. He didn't really know why the pictures to moved, but there had to be mechanisms behind it so he didn't give it too much thought. Everything in this place could be explained. Everything.

He turned to the rest of the room and rubbed the back of his neck in thought, eyes dragging from one thing to the next.

How did he get here? That was the first question on his mind. Obviously he was separated somehow from the rest of the team. Not that he knew how... Last he remembered they were standing on a frozen tundra, each of them staring at a cane sticking straight up in the air - it had to be magnetic - and he and Artemis were both reaching for the dumb thing. Now he was looking out to a massive creepy drawing room that seemed like it was straight out of a monster movie. The kind where Dracula would try to sway him with pretty women like he did to that Jonathan Harker guy. Yet he didn't see any pretty women trying to seduce him, and that was disappointing. He totally wouldn't say no to that kind of thing!

Though he definitely didn't like being separated from his team the way he was. Not that a little exploration would hurt the mission at hand much.

Wally decided to test the solidity of one of the chairs, kicking it with his foot before he flopped into it. Nelson was some kind of messed up, wasn't he? Maybe all that 'magic' and a really long life made the old guy crazy enough to enjoy this stuff. Guy who said he did magic for a living had to have a screw loose, right? Wouldn't be a huge stretch to think the old man went missing on purpose to have a little fun with impressionable teenagers easily taken in by that kind of thing. Good thing he had a strong mind, right?

Though why he was just sitting here was anyone's guess. He needed to get up and find the rest of the team. They were out there somewhere.
